I've been a huge fan of Techland's games since the Xpand Rally days (and yes, i actually loved both Call of Juarez titles as well), so Dead Island will be yet another quality title coming your way from the Polish development studio. This truly disturbing game trailer is shocking for a number of reasons, but seeing it as it should be seen rather than the reverse trailers popping up all over the internet makes for the most impact (no pun intended). Techland's pretty mum on when the long in development, then canceled, then back in development PS3/Xbox 360/PC title will be completed, but I say leave them alone and let them produce the best work they've done to date. Publisher Deep Silver has a "2011" release date (and I hope the game hits NYC for some of us editor-types to get in some hands-on time), but I'll wait patiently for a confirmation (he said, perching atop the mailbox)...Screens and art coming this weekend...
