Lovely. Pop this open as a full screen video and "play" it a few times for best results. Yes, yes, as good as this looks, the actual game will be a great deal more compelling and fun, but this tiny taste of what's coming next week should have your wallet lighter within a few clicks. Arkane and Bethsoft have one of the sleepers of the year, i say. Don't disappoint them by not buying the game, as they have a masked assassin on the payroll and you don't. Even if you did, I bet he or she couldn't transform into a swarm of rats or toss a wire trap that could slice you to jerky within seconds...

Dishonored: The Tales from Dunwall (Episodes 1 - 3) - Graphic & Novel
And here you go - all three Tales From Dunwall installments to get you all set for Dishonored when it hits stores on October 9, 2012. This is one of the games I've been looking forward to because of its single player focus, fantastic art direction and overall fresh take on some familiar gameplay elements.
PS3, PC or Xbox 360, folks - definitely give this one a shot. Arkane Studios isn't yest a household name amongst gamers (unless they happen to have been around for Arx Fatalis and loved it as much as I did), but this is a game that will definitely be remembered (and copied) for years to come...

Dishonored Golden Cat Walkthroughs 1 & 2: Taking It Low & Slow or Loud & Proud
One game, two decidedly different ways to play, same outcome in the form of both your targets fleeing this mortal coil in nicely amusing manners. And there are a few more ways to go through this single level from Arkane Studios' upcoming game. I have the feeling the dev team will be really pleased with the ways people try to "break" their game by attempting things that not even the QA team has come up with to dink around with. Then again, I did hear some funny stories from Harvey Smith and Raphael Colantonio about some of the things the testers DID find that the dev team hadn't intended. This one's going to be fun as hell, I say...

Dishonored Trailer: This Embargo is KILLING Me, But The Trailer Is Quite Spectacular
So, I saw Dishonored in action yesterday, but I can't write about it (or more accurately, post impressions) until next week. Meanwhile, Bethesda rolled this amazing trailer out just to taunt those of us who were floored at the press event yesterday and can't write anything (or more accurately, post impressions) until next week. I will say this, however: those jaded games who complain about all sorts of things not being doable by their character will be knocked off their feet when they get their hands on this one. Let's just say Arkane Studios knows and loves what they're doing and this one is doing it RIGHT.
More once the embargo is lifted... enjoy the trailer!

Skyrim's New Kill Cams: More Stuff Guaranteed To Make Console Owners Jealous...
Yeah, and I'm one of them. Oh well, I'm hoping we see all this stuff in the INEVITABLE Game of the Year versions of Skyrim, although I'd imagine Bethsoft making the PS3 version of the game work perfectly AND get in all the great content will be a tricky task. I'd be into the PC version if I could afford a PC to run it on and have a connection to get all those patches and some of the cooler mods, but ah well. You go to war with the army you have (or something stupid like that)...

Fallout New Vegas Ultimate Edition: Who Needs A Real Vacation?
Now, what's MORE thrilling to you? Dropping all your cash on a trip to Las Vegas and losing your shirt there or camping out in front of your TV for weeks with this stacked deck from Bethesda and Obsidian that contains the original game plus practically every bit of DLC released for it? OK, maybe I'd still want to go to Vegas, but I'd not want to pass up this great game deal either. As the press info says below:
This complete package, which includes the full version of Fallout: New Vegas as well as the Dead Money, Honest Hearts, Old World Blues and Lonesome Road add-on packs, allows you to experience everything that New Vegas has to offer. To sweeten the pot, you'll be armed with the latest cache of unique weapons, ammo types and recipes from the most recent add-on packs Courier's Stash and Gun Runners Arsenal. Fallout: New Vegas Ultimate Edition will be available in retail stores across North America on February 7th 2012 and throughout Europe on February 10th.

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Gameplay Videos: 20+ Minutes Of Amazing
If you're still curious as to why Skyrim will be the game many people (including yours truly) will be buried in for quite some time, here are three videos that show off the game's awesomeness quite well. Bethsoft finally posted these E3 videos a few days back (and yes, the build was playable at PAX in Seattle), but as usual, I'm catching up a bit late. In a weird way, I'm almost scared of how huge the game will be, but I'm not a total dope, folks. This one's going to take a while to explore every nook and cranny, but that's what I do, so I can't wait...

RAGE 2011 Website/ Brink "A Choir of Guns" Trailers
Not counting any iOS releases or other surprises, Bethesda is "only" releasing a mere four major titles this year, but man, what a lineup. RAGE, Hunted: the Demon's Forge, Brink and The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. I absolutely want all four of these and it's a darn good thing they all aren't landing in stores at the same time. As it is, Skyrim will kill my free time until the cows evolve into a new life form! Anyway, here's an eye-searing RAGE Trailer plus the latest Brink trailer for you to ogle.

Fallout: New Vegas - Dead Money Trailer
Of course you KNEW some of that huge unused or blocked off space in the game world was going to get used and yup, here comes the first DLC for New Vegas to show you something even more twisted than the main game. Nice mix of a few familiar films packed in the trailer and it definitely looks creepy enough to put me under the couch while playing. December 21st, 2010 is the release date - Keep 'em coming, Obsidian...

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Trailer
Oh. Hell. Yeah (Or: Well, so much for my free time). Bethsoft brings the dragons on big time in this latest (upcoming) Elder Scrolls adventure and yup, I can't wait. Neither can you... go on, admit it...
