Mass Effect 3 "Take Earth Back" Trailers: Now, That's The Kind OF CGI I Can Get Behind...

BioWare is bringing their epic sci-fi RPG series to a close with Mass Effect 3 (or at least this particularly massive story arc) and over the last week, they've rolled out a few variations of the game's stunning trailer that's worth a look even if you're not into the game. Here are two of the longer versions to pore over in case you haven't yet seen them. I'd actually not mind at all of we saw a Mass Effect mini-series done this way that tells the story through all three games based on certain in game paths. Granted, the fans would fight like hell to see THEIR versions of Shepard as the hero instead of what a team of writers could come up with. On the other hand, I'd actually like to see a narrative that tells the entire saga in an episodic format (which could stretch out for a few seasons if it's accepted by the game's large user base)...

Dead Space 2/Dragon Age 2 "Sir Issac" Armor Bonus Trailer

Awesome way of getting interest in two entirely different EA titles, as BioWare and Visceral have teamed up to add this very cool Dead Space 2-themed armor unlock for Dragon Age 2. I'd already planned to snap up both, but this extra incentive should add a little more zing to Dragon Age's list of improvements. Now, if a few Necromorphs pop up in that game, that might be a little much, but it won't keep me from what looks like another 100-plus hours in yet another stellar BioWare RPG.

Mass Effect 2 PS3 Launch Trailer

It's here and if you own a PS3, it's a MUST-buy game (one of many on the console this year). Working on getting a review copy so I can spend another 80+ hours immersed in this grand epic (this time with better visuals and a bunch of extras)...

Dragon Age: Origins Update: Meet Oghren!

Hilarious introduction to Oghren, one of Dragon Age: Origins' classy dwarf heroes. Funny stuff and he sort of looks like Gary Coleman with pancake makeup and a red beard (well, a little...) - enjoy!

Dragon Age: Origins has gone gold and should be in stores on November 3, 2009 for the PS3, Xbox 360 and PC.
